'Big Joe' certainly has the right's talking points down. I'm not sure that necessarily makes him a free thinker. Maybe. Or maybe he's a plant. I really don't know. But I'd hesitate to say he doesn't fall for propaganda until I was damn sure he isn't a shill in support of it. There's just something -- off to me about this supposedly chance interview. From the USA logo on his shirt to his 'spontaneous' checklist of talking points that in no way seems rehearsed to the unidentifiable Uncle Sam interviewer who just happens to catch him on the fly before letting him ramble at length . . . I'm not entirely buying it.

Anyway, nothing we haven't already heard a thousand times.

His being black may also be a deliberate casting choice. If it was a black lady, case would be closed.

It all boils down to conservatives not being able to take what they dish out.

They were unreasonable assholes that cried and complained the entire time we held power. They did everything they could to slander everything we stand for, all while having the nerve to play the victim when we defended ourselves to set the record straight when people like Beck slandered us. Many of them made clear that they were wiling to let the government shut down if they didn't exactly what they wanted -- all while the public had liberal politicians in the congress.. Now, they have the majority control of the government, and they think they're entitled to be treated with a generosity and civility that they NEVER extended to us.

People in general can't think for themselves. A great many are so simple as to unwittingly align themselves with their enemy. A portion of said people are black. Today's ambitious Far-right fascist makes the concession to keep a token black around who can parrot all the usual talking points without running the risk of being labelled a "racist" by the Left and their fascist equivalents. They aren't "pet negroes", "token blacks" or "Uncle Toms", they are just people who, you guessed it, think for themselves and don't need the left to dictate to them what they should think and the same applies for the LGBT community as well.

The guy was obviously a plant for the video. No way they just found a random black man in the crowd, and he happened to parrot all the right talking points for the rightists. They've done this shit before and there's usually money involved to some extent. Tomi Lahren is a prime example of this. She rants and raves for conservatism and parrots all the typical garbage so common on the right-wing, but older appearances and comments from her reveal a very different person. One that sounded pretty damn liberal in her politics just a few years ago.

It's interesting to note that, before Tomi started cashing those Glenn Beck TheBlaze checks, her approach to commenting on issues was much different. Instead of the Twista-leaning rapid fire speech she has become known for, she was way more composed, controlled, and...quiet.

Now, the question is, who is the real Tomi Lahren? Is Tomi really the in-your-face, ultra-opinionated talking head that we see popping up in our Facebook timelines for the wrong reasons, or is she the Tomi we see in these 2014 UNLV-TV videos, where she's much calmer and easier to reason with? Gehring feels as though this has nothing to do with Tomi coming into her own and is more about her coming into a fat check and playing a role that the conservative media needs.

It's a bottom line called money. When she was in college she was an average young lady, and now that she's paid by Glenn Beck she's a raging neocon for the camera. It's all fake, it's all an act, and they know people are stupid enough to buy it. These are dirty tricks the right-wing engages in all the time in the name of furthering their agenda.
