2. Well, I care about my health, so I wont drink and I do want to find that special girl, without getting STIs, so I wont sleep around and I like having a day off, so I will keep the sabbath.
That says uncomplementary things about you in particular, but nothing about either Christianity or Atheism in general.

Those are really your two options. However, if I was to go with number 2 I would of gone back to God, as I did anyways.
False dichotomy.
Why are these your only two options? I can be an atheist without running around and being a complete hedonist. In fact, your option #2 (with the exception of the sabbath) could apply to an atheist!
Science flies us to the moon and stars. Religion flies us into buildings.
God allowed 200,000 people to die in an earthquake. So what makes you think he cares about YOUR problems?

Are you sure?
Dave4shumps, when I was contemplating Atheism I had only two paths:
1. Live it up! Drink, have sex, who cares? Im no longer accontable to some god
2. Well, I care about my health, so I wont drink and I do want to find that special girl, without getting STIs, so I wont sleep around and I like having a day off, so I will keep the sabbath.

LOL.
Did you think about this dangerous third path?
3. I am accountable to myself and those closest to me. Since I have a responsibility to myself and others, I will do my best not to act like an idiot and take care of my mental and physical health because I know I have this life at the very least, and don't want to squander it away. I'll be smart about my relations with all people, including sexual ones, and avoid risks that I don't deem are necessary in life so that I may enjoy more of it with my loved ones.
I'm an atheist and I don't drink, I've never done any drugs or smoked any cigarettes, and I always use protection when having sex - which is in a monogamous, fruitful relationship. I try to take care of myself, exercise, give respect to my fellow man, and help out the community in any way I can by volunteering my time. Hell, I don't even have any points on my driver's license. Please explain to me how that warrants a God in any aspect or manor, and how my decision is not part of your false dichotomy, yet it's perfectly reasonable for me to decide to do so.
