Something utilizing groups that people could put out in/out could work but it would be quite a lot of permissions rework at a minimum.

Do you mean something like favourite feeds functionality like in news apps... so you could prioritise your favourite forums and move them to the top and relegate (if not completely flush out the airlock Wink) your least favourite forums or the ones you never use? To use a purely hypothetical example of the latter, sports Wink ...like on my news apps, that category is about as far relegated as it can get Wink

Yup. I think that's the etymology. It's older than the Simpson's, though. A Google search shows it was in use at least as early as 1944.
