Well given that G4S still get government contracts after walking away from the London olympics security contract six days before they commenced (for using the money given to not hire any security for the event), after fucking over the whole of the justice system's interpretation system (though to be honest they only bought out the original company only after it became obvious that there'd be no penalties for companies using the contract money to not hire qualified interpreters), or charging the government for "tagging" paroled criminals that didn't exist, or Crapita after royally fucking up everything they've touched still getting the biggest value contracts, &c. ad infinitum; I'd suggest that in likelihood the outside company is in line for a bigger contract with fatter margins and even more space to fuck up in.
