I also had to wait till 1983 till I was allowed to cast my first vote. Two years after the elligible age.

Independence referendum is probably going to be in 2018 and the next general election is 2020 (unless they call an early one, but that's unlikely)

I'm still young and my views are slowly changing. I try not to be as stubborn as before and see all sides of the argument . It's just part of growing up, I suppose. I come from a poor background, so the Tories, using your words, "wouldn't wipe their ass with people like me".
