Ok.. Well crap. I can't think of much to say other than, Varner, that was terrible. Zeke's face, like a deer in the headlights for most of the discussion.

Debbie, ugh. She has seen and done everything. A braggert. I am really suprised she was able to keep her mouth shut about the boat and Cochran. I expect she will spill at some point. I can't imagine her keeping it to herself for long.

Oh, the merge... the horror!!
Oh wait... gotta get rid of players that are good at challenges, now.
First Hali... sorry, CL, we'll only get to see her during tribal, now.... but there's at least one pretty lady in that midst, still...
Aubry's keeping her head low... could go far, while everyone is worried about taking out alphas and males and stuff!

Then that guy... Ozzie... as if he's the only person capable of providing food... when he was on one tribe, the other managed, somehow... I'm sure they can still manage.
hmmm.... whatever happened to the goats? Wink

Anyway.... that blonde girl.... Sierra?... she's thinking that she's got the crown on her head, huh?... What happened to the previous queen?

As far as Ozzy getting voted off, it needed to happen. Yeah, he provided food - but the thing is, they're all returning players and *someone* should know how to fish, or they deserve to starve.

Is it too late to make another triumphant return? Tongue

I'm sad Caleb got the boot this past episode.

Sandra needs to go.

Excited to see more from Ozzy and Malcom.

We are so exactly opposite on survivor it slays me! Tongue (Except Malc, I'm super sad he's gone...)

Anyway, catching up (and because I can't remember where I last posted, Imma just start where I start):

Caleb: Good riddance to a nothing player.
Malcolm: So many people lost their winner pick when he got the boot!  Stupid JT.  You owe Stephan $500,000.
JT: Exposes himself as a lousy player without an actual strategist backing up with southern charm.
Sandra: Why?!?  Why?!?!?!?!  I knew she wouldn't win a third time but still, this one stings.
Varner: Good riddance.  There was no strategy behind outing Zeke, it was a malicious move in order to garner (some perceived) favor from the group for "revealing a deception." I'm glad it backfired on him.
Hali: Should have dumped her bag.  I get the idea of forcing someone to demand it of her, but she should have just done it and removed that excuse. It was sad that the only time she seemed interesting was when she was at tribal, otherwise she would have been a great goat to drag to the end.
Ozzy: Duh. He needs to stop thinking that fishing will win him the game of Survivor.  News flash, people who go on a game show that involves starving in order to win a million dollars are.... willing to starve to win a million dollars. Duh.

I think I'm spoiled about the next person to get the boot but we'll have to wait and see this week.

Yay, Cirie is still in it! But it looks like her days are numbered. Sad (To be clear, this isn't a reference to being spoiled, this is a reference to her being on the minority alliance right now.)  I hope she can pull through.  I don't think she's going to win, and I don't think anyone is stupid enough to let her get near the end but I'm hoping she can make it to, like, the 7.  I think that's a lot to ask, but... please?

The Cirie/Michaela dynamic is nice to see - the question is, will the master slay the apprentice, or the apprentice the master?

And how capable of change is Michaela? I kind of like her attitude and the fact that she's easy to read, and other players should like that about her, too! She's SO predictable in that way and you want predictable players in the game!

I don't like Sierra.  At all.  Not even a little bit.  Can't wait for someone to shoot this sheriff (and her deputy).

Zeke did a massively stupid thing turning on his alliance for the sake of "making a move."  He needs to take a page from Natalie Anderson and learn some patience.

Debbie is legit looney tunes. But she did what Zeke couldn't achieve and pulled off a big move so....

Aubry seems to keep finding the shit end of the stick and drawing it.

I couldn't care less about Brad except that he is now the dominant male players to Dodgy

Troyzan seems to be holding in there.  If he can keep his head down it'll be a long time until he has to whip out his idol.

Tai is adorable but MAN is he bad at this game!  Good at idol-finding; bad at strategy.

Andrea is running pretty on course for how I thought things would go for her.

Sarah seems to be playing better this time around but I'm still not big on her personality.  She just rubs me the wrong way for some reason.  I wouldn't be mad if she won, or went far, but I'm not rooting for her or anything.

Lol, I forgot Troyzan had an idol.

I think Debbie looks good as a goat to take to final tribal. Players tend to not vote for the cray cray ones.

I have to agree about Tai, he's bad at the game, but he's loveable and he's got two(?) idols. As long as he can smoke out the blindside....

All your points are so astute it clarifies two things for me.  One, I'd suck at this game.  Two, you might rock.  Have you sent in a video yet?

RE: SURVIVOR: Game Changers
I Heart Cirie.

If these people let her get to the end they are all stupid and Cirie absolutely deserves to win.  (She absolutely deserves to win anyway, but whatever Tongue )  Unfortunately, there are enough smart people left to know that going to the end with her would be a suicide mission; she has a massively great social game, she’s got a fantastic story over her 4 seasons, she’s struggling on this season so if confined just to this season she’s got a growth story, and she is generally beloved.

She’s going to be voted out soon.

In other news, I’m SO glad Sarah is finally doing something.  She’s dug her head out of her ass and has taken charge of her game.  I was super pleased to discover that I WASN’T, in fact, spoiled for this episode which changed my impression of Sarah.  I thought I saw that Andrea was the one voted out this episode so I was getting ready to continue to be let down by Sarah talking about making big moves but never actually making one.

The best thing about this episode was that it knocked Sierra down a peg.  I hate players that get cocky and aren’t cocky for outrageous character reasons, like Debbie to some extent (Debbie got on my nerves for being cocky but I accept it from her because she’s crazy Tongue ) but are cocky because they think they’ve sewn the game up with 11 people left and are just bidding their time before they can make their case at final tribal.  Brad could use a reality check, too, but for some reason he’s been edited into a smaller role in the last couple episodes so my ire is mostly directed at Sierra, but Brad definitely gets his share of my disgust.

Next episode looks like Zeke is getting back to where he wants to be which is where he otherwise might have been if he hadn’t stupidly tried to force a big move for the sake of making one.  He unnecessarily made a bunch of enemies out of people who had been his allies.  Stupid move, Zeke.

It’s looking more and more like Sarah is being edited to either be a finalist or at least make top 4/5.  She got a little coverage at the beginning of the season talking about “playing like a criminal,” she’s kept her head down and made the merge, and now she’s stepping out on her own with moves she can lay claim to in a final tribal.  I don’t know if she’s a winner yet, but I wouldn’t counter her out.

And FINALLY the post-merge game is beginning.

HA!
(1) Monday Morner quarterbacking does not a good player make Wink
(2) I couldn't justify the time away from work
(3) I'm not that crazy about the idea of coming home with parasites
(4) Anyone who knows me would know it'd take more than $1M for me to go sit on an island and starve

Ohhh send them this video! You were really a cutie. (Though your hair was awfully straight. Might try braiding.)

Debbie is neurotic as hell in a way I'd find very hard to be around. But the one who really seems over matched is Michaela. Apart from challenges she has zero ability to perceive the way she is being perceived and nearly as clueless reading other people. Aubry really needs to play with clueless people to be effective; she seems out of step. Gay tree climbing guy (no good with names) sure has seemed thick at times. If survivor were just about finding food and shelter he'd be the winner. Too bad for him.

Like you I was also very happy for Sarah, would like to see her succeed as a criminal. I like her.

I don't see where Brad has done any thing very stupid. He has pretty much been as inconspicuous as a former NFL quarterback can be running around nearly naked all day. Probably isn't realistic to think someone like that has a chance unless they get in an alliance of dimwits early on, make it the merge, win out and somehow make it past the jury.

Am I the only one who thinks that voting out Debbie was an enormous mistake?
