Despite how much complaining you Christians do here about it, you're going to have to face the fact that not all views are equal. If you want people to be more open to your views, try not believing in magic and giants based on a 2,000 year-old book.

Besides, if there's one thing I've learned about discussing with Christians here, no matter how valid of a point you make they will plug their ears and deny, deny, deny in order to maintain belief. It's a much better use of energy to just point and laugh for some catharsis.

That's not what theists tell me. They say that god just said no, cause it knew best. Mystery solved.

Theist - "God please don't let my child die."

Child dies

Theist - "Well God knows best."

Has any theists addressed this: If self aware alien life or any alien life is discovered, the abrahamic gods would then become a fallacy?

I've heard this said before but mostly from non believers (in gods, not aliens). I'm not exactly sure what this is based on. Maybe that humans are a special one off?

Anybody?

Nah, don't stress the small stuff Mark...
It'll just be that we shouldn't take it literally and that god has enough love for all of us even though he secretly does love us more...... "I can feel it in my heart...."

Can you point out the passage where it actually ststes that non Christian scientists will be running and hiding.

I don't recall any mention of svientists in the Big Book of Myths...

Go read Revelation, it doesn't speak of scientist it speaks of all non-believers which would encompass non-believing scientists.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

I love it when Christians use logic to justify the illogical!

Science lets us down frequently.

So?  If it never let us down, it wouldn't be science.

"...entity...", full stop. Definitely, not God.

I definitely agree that God is most likely not an entity.
