On a side note you have not converted to atheism since there is really nothing to convert to, you have just given up believing in nonsense and have decided to set your mind free from religious oppression thought. I suppose I've yet to be fully deprogrammed of thinking in terms of religiosity; 26 years is a pretty long time, all but 5 years of my life. I guess some would count it as ALL of my life.

I've spent a bit of time studying the bible but never even considered it could be BS. I know it was written for a particular audience for a particular reason but I think we don't yet know either of those facets of information.

For some reason, my common sense side said, "that's enough!!". I needed to reconcile these contradictions in my head before I went crazy. That's what helped me understand if I want truth then I need to steer clear of religion and take a closer look at a little thing called scientific evidence.

Hey Zeus perhaps you were joking but some of the best lies have a little truth in them and I'm sure Min wasn't joking with that kudos. I've always stated that if anyone I respected asked I'd leave without another word. Until that happens though I'd be happy to clear up your misconceptions and answer your questions.
