Why are Christians so uneasy about the paranormal

Meh... I think if anything, it makes more sense to say he imagined it than to say he was actually asleep the whole time and the whole thing was just a dream that he thinks actually happened.

Regardless, the sleep paralysis + hallucinations explanation is compatible with the description you provided. In fact, it was the first thing that popped to my mind as I was reading your post. I was looking for anything in the post that would falsify the explanation but found none.

I'm not sure how, considering sleep paralysis is described as inability to move, which is not what he experienced. What can't be explained is thrown at demons, it's also the same case with Christianity.

Maybe ancient people feared sickness, so they blamed the effects they can't heal on Satan.
But the worst crime a person can do, is to betray the real reason behind things, and just blame the unknown.

I think being afraid is the cause Christians are uneasy with the paranormal; but isn't it the same with Heathen Shamans blaming evil spirits, JU=ON stuff?
