Potatoes is often not considered a real vegetable to nutritionists because it's mostly just carbs rather than the nutrients that most vegetables contain Tongue

Potatoes are a good source of Vitamin A.

Hey, guys! Looks like we've been slacking on this thread, so I thought I'd post an update. I got thrown off track by vacations, work, etc. However, we're making a concerted effort to drastically reduce added sugars from our diets. I'm also going to reduce my dairy intake. We're currently cleaning out our pantry and refrigerator, eating all the stuff that hides in the back until we're down to nothing. We're then going to stock up on lean meats, healthy snacks and tons of produce! We bought a vacuum sealer to keep the boogey man away from our fresh foods and to keep my self-frozen berries from getting freezer burnt. My town is hosting a farmer's market tonight. If I remember, I'll post pictures of my take.

Lol I forgot about this thread. It's funny, all that work I was doing and almost no results. I get pregnant and I lose five pounds having not set foot in the gym in two months. Sadly I have to forget my weight loss and waist size goal. Now I have a new goal! No gaining weight for 6 more weeks then one pound a week weight gain. I shouldn't go over 25-30 lbs during this pregnancy. He put me on a strict diet of meats, fruits, and veggies. I have to tone down the bread and the pasta to once a week which is the hardest thing. I've given up soda and tea but for one bottle every other week or so which was easier than I had thought it would be.

I actually began in march.
I just cut back on chips and have been renovating more. And I completely cut soda from my diet. Lost 4kg (almost 9 pounds) so far. Would love to lose 2kg more. Been losing it steadily, so I'm happy about that.

I suck. I totally stopped being careful for a while. Barely started watching what I eat like a week ago again. Yesterday I had done a pretty good job of it, too, but my son had gone to eat with his dad in Mexico and brought me tacos. You know, tacos are sacred. Sigh. I'll make a plan this weekend and post something up.

I have been drinking apple cider vinegar (has to be with the Mother) first thing in morning before food for couple of months. It really helps burn fat without trying too hard. My love handles aren't much to grab on to anymore. I hate stuff with high fructose corn syrup, because of how it makes me feel so I normally avoid it. My diet isn't perfect, but with the apple cider vinegar my naughty times aren't catching up to me.
I was a born-again christian for many years then I got woke.. and now life is better in so many ways. It's taking me time to see my value and find my voice, but the reward is liberating knowing my path is not dictated or controlled by fear of death and the unknown.  Casting off the shackles of religion is pretty fucking awesome. The beautiful people I've met on this forum have more heart and compassion than any group of people I've been apart of. So back off Jesus and followers, because this bitch is done with Chu.  Shy

Sad
Exercise is bad for your health... So I had a little accident on my bike.
Luckily, I landed on some roadside plants... but my left leg got caught between the pavement and the bike (yikes)... and my left leg caught the front chainwheel...
(this stuff is hidden for a reason... think before you see it)

A guy on a van saw the accident and asked where I was going and if I wanted a ride... nice guy... he was also coming to this site, so that was lucky of me! Smile

*grumbles* There have been parties with wonderful food and visitors for whom special meals and desserts were prepared who failed to finish off said yummies and desserts. *grumbles*

Long story short, instead of coasting into my goal I seem to have drifted up five pounds. To address this I must dial back on the odd cookie snatched from the Maria's tube while passing by the kitchen, cut out snacking while watching games or movies on television and get back into simple but yummy routine meals which fit within my allotted calorie footprint. Instead of hovering near the border into the 170's I'm now closer to the border into the 190's!
