Why the fuck would foreign authorities agree to send her back to oppression? She was already out of her home country. I wonder if the Australian authorities would've done the same.

Bad friends -even friends with benefits- leave stinky spots on their allies, one way or another.

The visit would result in what? more suppression to the natives of the kingdom in exchange of protection to the ruling class? while increasing the static represented by cartoonish fix ups for some human rights' violations.

Money talks.
She was stopped in the Philippines, a government well known to take bribes from the kingdom.

The Australian officials were at the end of the road; she didn't reach it there. In other words; they detained her midway.
