Today is the worst mothers day I've ever had. I'm not a mother, but.. I had to commit my mom last night to a psych crisis center after the cops took her in for being suicidal and sending goodbye letters to people.
She wanted to come home immediately, and she could've. But I said no to the doctor. And now she's uber mad at me. :/

Unfortunately this is the second such stay this year. But this is one where it was under my opinion whether she should come home and I had to say no. 

I have her mother's day gifts, and no mother! Ha.

My poor son had to spend the day antiquing with the ex. He called me around 2PM while hiding out in the restroom. I suggested he faked diarrhea to escape.

Took 90 year old mother out for dinner and to the pokies...
I think she's gone bonkers, though.
She won a feature on the pokie machine and it paid a couple of hundred bucks within the first minute.
Next thing I know she's called the man over to tell him it's broken because it just keeps on paying!

She's really has lost it! Then she wanted to go home because she won! Fuck me......

That is a tough thing to deal with, Lucky. You didn't ask to deal with that decision. But after you mom made hers you pretty much had to make some of your own. Not your fault but you're within your rights to do what feels right to you in this. And of course I agree.
