Also, it's scary to think that hospital computers use a Windows OS. Yikes!

Hugs. I cannot imagine what that must be like to go through. I hope all turns out well and they can remove the blockage for you.

I already posted this in A69, but it's not really A69 material, so I'll post it here where it should've been all along. (With all original text included.) #chicksdigskinnypaleguys

Is it still called a "muscle shirt" when you have no muscles?

A Christian told me: if you were saved you cant lose your salvation. you're sealed with the Holy Ghost

I replied: Can I refuse? Because I find the entire concept of vicarious blood sacrifice atonement to be morally abhorrent, the concept of holding flawed creatures permanently accountable for social misbehaviors and thought crimes to be morally abhorrent, and the concept of calling something "free" when it comes with the strings of subjugation and obedience perhaps the most morally abhorrent of all... and that's without even going into the history of justifying genocide, slavery, rape, misogyny, religious intolerance, and suppression of free speech which has been attributed by your own scriptures to your deity. I want a refund. I would burn happily rather than serve the monster you profess to love.

Thanks for the well wishes and support, everyone. I'm feeling fine right now. I can feel the stent if I tighten my abdominal muscles. It doesn't hurt, it just feels like something is in there (because there is). Beyond being wary about regaining another UTI because Gibraltar is still in there, everything should be good until it's lasered out of there.

I'm moving a little slower, mostly because the antibiotics did a number on me (pretty sure I lost a little weight), but no pain, no fever... life is good.

I love your sense of humor despite having to deal with a stuck kidney stone.
The fact that you named it makes me want to hug you and bring you a tray of lasagna.

"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Haha Smile

When you're born permanently physically disabled and you've had 43 other surgeries to address it (mostly osteotomies, which hurt), a kidney stone is really no big deal. I've endured a lot worse many times. Shit, there's not even a cast or anything with this thing! Might as well be a hangnail.
