These Brits do know something about flowers
![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() I've heard the tale of why the British take such good care of their gardens. It seems that, in days past, bees were plentiful. People didn't like it so much when the bees stung, so they planted flowers to keep them busy pollinating and collecting nectar for honey.

Also if your signature makes my scrolling mess up "you're tacky and I hate you."
That's just lovely and you look beautiful. :-)
Mooney you look amazing

I've always liked this flower, Tithonia rotundafolia or Mexican Sunflower. I like the way each flower's stem goes from narrower to wider in such a Dr. Seuss fashion: ![]() Of course the actual flowers are all in the center and the larger orange 'petals' are for flagging in pollinators. ![]() And that works. ![]() I also grow Tithonia diversifolia or Bolivian Sunflower which can grow to be a small tree and has yellow flowers.
