Ugh.
Do those thangs just up and run (okay, slither) across the driveway on a regular basis? I only spy around my place a couple of times year, usually just the garter variety, I think. If they're too close to my front door, I'll come from around back and shoot them with a Super-Soaker until they skedaddle.
ha ha...Athena Oakley, saving the day.
Not regular, no -- the roadrunners have been busy this year killing off the young.
We do get those, and rattlers, often enough that I have to steer around them (and I do, snakes gotta make a living too) driving to work and whatnot.
The one I pictured, I pulled off to the side, stepped out, and kicked his tail a little, that got him scooting off'n the road.

I dunno what's worse, the fact i laughed at that, or that i have watched that film at least twice.

If you see a rattler on the way home, maybe you should stop and pick it up for supper.
Carefully, of course.
I hear they make for good grillin'.

Don't feel bad. I own it on DVD, and watch it whenever it airs on network television.
I've seen it enough times to lose track, tbh.
Don't judge me.

I don't do so much, myself. Much as I love fresh rattler, I don't care for gutting and disposing -- out here, entrails draw all kinds of critters. They are good eatin', though. Skin, gut, and section, lay the medallions over a hot grill fuelled by mesquite, and baste with a little butter, garlic powder, pepper, paprika, and salt to taste. Flip every two minutes three time each side. Serve with home fries and a fresh green salad, you're golden.

Don't judge me. It's decent enough, just the actors could be better
Whoa....I just Googled "Johnny Rico shirtless" in Images, to post evidence of the film's brilliant acting.
Did not know Johnny Rico is also the name of a porn actor.
So, yeah. I just got a eyeful of mouthfuls.

My brother has a tree python, non-venomous, but it's still fairly hostile, especially when it's close to feeding time.
I reckon it's bit me fifty times now. It sought of hurts so it gets annoying fairly quick.
I tapped it on the head once after it bit me and that just made it madder.
Lucky my brother didn't see me do it else he would have given me a kick in the arse for it. :-)
Fifty times...what?
Why are you getting bitten by the same snake so much, man?
Snakes can't just say no...
