Maybe tone down the metallic a notch. (I'm still working the wife to okay a purchase, she thinks I have too many chess sets to begin with.)

They don't look bad at all. You've actually inspired me to look into fabricating some forms for custom pieces. I spent a lot of time looking at your stuff (and shooting links out to buddies)..lol.

Yeah I have a 9 year old as well. You find plenty of reasons to spend time doing anything other than enjoying them when they're small. You spend the rest of the time regretting it...lol. I can't get a hig anymore without paying in advance by accepting a swift kick to the groin for some perceived insult.
