As far as I know. I'm woeful in tree identification. My dad is better at it.

I probably should take a course just in trees at some point.

I'm bad with tree identification too… We missed the cherry blossoms this year, BOO! We went down to the tidal basin a week ago Sunday, but it was cool and there were like 5 trees in full bloom (completely surrounded by tourists trying to get a pic of the blossoms, BTW). Then the weather shifted mid-week and it was 85*+ for three days and the blossoms went crazy… Then we had a thunderstorm and they're gone… Oh, well… We'll catch them next year Smile

We have a double cherry blossom tree in our yard that's almost ready to bloom. I'll try to get some pics of it.

That's what I really like capturing. Unfortunately, David's Canon doesn't have a macro lens.

Yeah, neither does mine. Well my iphone is all I use lately for photos and all it does when you magnify an image is basically crop part of the same image you'd get without magnifying. So there are no more pixels and all you get is out of focus crap.

There are mini lenses for about $40 a set you can attach to a cell phone.
