If the pizza was advertised as Halal (like Kosher), then the pizza place fucked up. Not enough to be millions of dollars of damages, but they shouldn't sell misleading products. An apology would be de minimis.

Okay, I just looked into this, and apparently, it seems there's a general consensus that if a Muslim eats pig meat accidentally, it's not a sin because they made a mistake and didn't know what they were doing.

That said, if someone A) has a strict dietary code, and B) doesn't know what's in a certain food [and it already kind of strains possibility that they wouldn't know pepperoni contains pork], I would honestly expect that they could just look it up.

Seriously, I just typed it in my iPhone, and from me putting my pin number in to actually getting a response from Google to the search "is pepperoni pork", it took maybe a bit less than 30 seconds to get that, and that included my thumb fumbling a couple times and briefly forgetting the phrase I was going to search for. And ironically, I get the feeling that's less time than it would take to order a pizza. Really, people no longer have an excuse to be this bloody ill-informed.

Okay, looking at it, the pizzas were specifically marked "halal," but still contained pork. Jackass, if you're looking to expand your business to be more Muslim-friendly, try to at least know what the fuck you're doing so it doesn't backfire.

Waited 3 days before reporting this after the alleged incident
Allegedly asked an employee at the pizzeria to put a "halal" sticker on the box.
Secretly recorded his argument with the manager, (Isn't that against the law?)
This isn't the first time this happened, They had gotten pork pepperoni at an earlier occasion from the same place, when he supposedly reported it to the police.
He was earlier part of the group suing mcdonalds over halal burgers or something and was bummed because he didn't get any cash from the settlement.


Since he must be a beacon of honesty, cause he believes an ancient story, I'll have to believe him despite all the above I guess.
