And if they fail they lose there citizenship . If your willing to subject other people it in the name of "security" then surly you believe that no one should be immune.

You can't make someone who was born in Canada (or most other countries, for that matter) stateless. Residents applying for citizenship is a totally different story.

 Yes I say we can. I see no reason why  the luck of being born here should hold you to a separate standard . If you demand of other you should have to endure it yourself . If you don't want that then don't impose it on other people and there families .

What is silly is the greed that exists in this world.

If people truly care about other people, they take care of them without any kind of incentive.

I think what you're suggesting is called Communism Maybe a nice ideal but never works.

And the other thing you said, about taking incentives and lack of sounds like how life works in Star Trek... ie no money just people doing their jobs for the good of all. Again a nice ideal, but like Communism I don't think it would ever work.

The funny thing is that it's not even communism, communism is about the workers controlling the means of production, nowhere does it say that everybody gets the same amount of money. I don't know what you'd call that idea, other than stupid.

Precisely... ideas like that would only work if everyone bought into it... but there will always be greed and corruption in the world, imo anyway.

The key feature about the truely classless world is while there may be nominally no formal incentives, there will always be opportunistic incentives in the form of the ability to withhold energy and effort from other in order to benefit oneself while escaping retribution.

So a truely classless system can't really avoid indirectly but structurally rewarding the opportunistic freeloading self-serving class, at the expense of the diligent hard working rest. If we must take the long Darwinian view, we might say in a truely classless system where everyone is exhorted to be selfless, the fittest would be the most cunningly selfish.

So you can see you idea society is instrinsically unstable and non-self perpetuating.

Yeah, makes sense. Human nature is what it is and it's not perfectly selfless even if we'd like it to be, so whatever system were in place like that, there would always be loopholes and people exploiting them.

It's not my ideal btw... I said it was a nice ideal but it's not my ideal. In another world or another universe maybe but not this one. In other words I'm not an idealist dreaming of a utopia but a realist.
