I'm simply trying to make the distinction between experiences happening in a material brain (what you would call "representations") and the material objects they are supposed to represent. Most make that distinction, but that's not all you're doing. What don't you understand?OFC the experience can be made of atoms. The atoms that make up your brain. No, the idea of the thing is not the thing..but again there's a batshit aside about how the beige thing can't be beige....because atoms? How about you, how much time have you wasted with the thoughts that formed these comments. Just ribbing you, but, for realz.....these have been very, very sloppy thoughts. Is there any term for whatever position you hold...for your non-materialist view? It might be easier for me to just look it up?
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Being told you're delusional does not necessarily mean you're mental.

What don't you understand? Okay, I'll bite. I understand what you're saying, but would you mind explaining its significance as it relates to your personal non-materialist world view? I don't see the profundity here. Obviously our conscious experiences of the world are just that; experiences of the world. I am not The World. I am a being experiencing The World. Sure, there are no "keyboard atoms" in my brain, but the neurons generating my experience of the keyboard are made of atoms. I guess I'm missing the point...

Seek strength, not to be greater than my brother, but to fight my greatest enemy -- myself.
