I'm pretty sure my cat is a better coder than the majority in employ at Microsoft . . .

Yes; a created AI would have a creator. Well done. Now present this "theory", cite some peer-reviewed papers and pony up some evidence that organic life had a Creator. If it's an actual theory, there's going to be plenty. So it should be easy.

Has anyone made a reference to Dirk Gently's Hollistic Detective Agency yet? And the robot that would do your believing for you, to the point where it would believe things they wouldn't believe in Salt Lake City?
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?
