However, it remains customary to render East Asian names of people residing in the west in the traditional western order of given name first, followed by family name.

Ok, still, thank you for the correction. I guess that is simply a lifetime of media putting it that way. Lots of non English languages seem backwards to people in the west.
But none of that has anything to do with Trump being a bombastic unpredictable jackass.
Kim, Trump, both unpredictable assholes who vilify dissent and any media that doesn't kiss their ass.
The only think stopping Trump for now, from looking like the Kim family, is we still have a constitution in place. But he is doing everything he can to destroy it.

I still think that international pressure on China to do something about their unstable ally on the doorstep is the best move. But China will likely just ignore it anyway.
