Amazingly enough he had his own modified DeLorean.

Biologically, a race is a regional variation within a species. Humans have those. So do bears. They're superficial, but race is pretty much inherently superficial...differences in coloration, fur pattern or texture, etc. A race isn't even a subspecies, it's a variation within a species associated with particular regions.

That said, the belief that those variations mean more than they do (in the case of humans, a clue to what region one's ancestors most inhabited) has been the source of a lot of compounded ignorance.

I always liked the names because they immediately communicate what it's about - an ancestor of all living humans. The fact that y-Adam and m-Eve didn't live at the same time and that the identity of both changes all the time when someone dies, should make it clear that this ain't the bible story.

Oh I'm sure it makes it clear to folks like you and me, but you wouldn't believe some of the crazy shit I've heard about y-adam and m-eve.  Although you spend time on this forum so maybe you would believe some of the crazy shit I've heard.

Unfortunately they do that to placate religion, they shouldn't but they do it because it gives them a door to promote science while not pissing off theists.

The theist will regardless go "A HA!" Just like they did when people called the Higgs Boson the "God Particle".

It is bullshit. Scientific method has always been completely separate and independent of all religions.

The fact that any so called "eve" made from adam's rib would have a y chromosome doesn't say this ain't the Bible story?

That doesn't mean popularizing of the results of science is not better served by leveraging existing cultural references.

I have a feeling that while you might be a book burner claiming to be serving what is really a better cause, you are a book burner first and foremost nonetheless.

Same as me. Lots of alcohol and pornhub.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I had to cancel my sub when that happened.  Pissed me off.  I collect NAT Geos like some people collect coins or cards. Everybody knew what was coming, when it happened, too.
