Ken Ham's Creation museum is FAILING!!!!!

RE: Ken Ham's Creation museum is FAILING!!!!!
From his blog I linked overleaf:

Quote:1 Why aren’t you using the tools Noah used?
Where are we ever told what tools Noah used? There is no mention in the Bible or even any hint as to what specific tools Noah used. So the answer is, we don’t know what the tools were—no one knows!

2 Noah didn’t have modern tools, so you shouldn’t use modern tools to build the Ark.
First, as stated above, no one knows what tools Noah had. Second, we live in modern world, so we are obviously going to use modern tools! We didn’t set out to build the Ark with tools Noah might have had, as we have no idea what they were. We wanted to design a wooden ship and then build it as a timber-frame building so the public can walk through it and get a sense of the Ark’s size and how such a wooden structure can be constructed.

Tl;dr version: you weren't there to see how Noah did it and the bible doesn't say, so we're using modern technology to show people how Noah did it.

Shit as it was, at least the film Evan Almighty was more authentic than this.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

The bible does actually give instructions on how the ark was built, just not specifics as to the tools used. In fact, the arc was built using the specifications mentioned in the bible, and the damned thing sank.

How about where all the rainwater came from and where it went afterward? Because if we've been to the moon that proves there's no firmament and the earth doesn't rest on pillars where the water can just fall off afterward.

But like with every question they can't answer, the response is simply...gawd ith magicks. Otherwise how would someone several centuries old still be capable of manual labor to that degree? Even with only 3 helpers (doubtful they'd have allowed them womens to help.)
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

So, the banks and the local government officials signed off on a business model predicated on enough atheists visiting the Creation Museum as to make it profitable ??

No one called bull shit on that ?

You seem to underestimate the ubiquitous nature of religion on people in all levels of government and finance and its ability to retard their ability to see 3 millimeters past their nose.

It's interesting that he claims that they wanted to build a wooden ship.  It's not a wooden ship...and even if it weren't a concrete plank clad parking garage.....nothing about it gives anyone any idea of it;s size...and how big was it again Mr "We don;t know the tools"..nor, for that matter, is there anything to be learned from his box about how -any- ship could or ever was constructed.

A ship of that shape and dimensions would not -be- a ship.  It's blisteringly clear that no nautical engineers were consulted - and Noah never built a ship in the fairy story anyway...he built a barge. All they built was a building that people would connect with a stylized idea -of- a ship. Just like fast food restaurants put facades on -their- hovels to give the impression that they are something that they are not. The protrusion on the front? The ridiculous "windvane" on the rear? The complete and utter lack of flair above the waterline? Said it before.I'll say it again....how do you fuck up a boat? It's not like cost was an issue.......

It would have been more true to form if they'd just piled logs up.

Indeed, it's not a wooden ship, it's a boat-shaped building constructed with the highest technology that science has given us. If the point was to show that such things can be built today, then fine - but nothing we don't all see every day and hardly worth the cost of doing it.

But I thought Ham's whole anti eviutionary shtick was that "you were not there?"

I have seen videos where he presents images of apes with lipstick and wigs and tells children,"do your grandparents look like that?"

Is he just a lying, disgusting, money grabbing scumbag?

Methinks the affirmative could be rationally and well evidenced. Double standard much!!

Unfortunately fibbers for Christ is something we are all too well used to.

Uh.....yeah?  I honestly don;t think that he believes a single word of either the bible or the stores -he- tells.  Not an unfortunate idiot...a common con. Ken Ham doesn't lie for christ, he does it for Ken Hams wallet.
