I served in the military, so I don't see why there's a problem. The only thing that would have been different would be their knowledge that I was transgender, since I obviously couldn't have come out then. I would have expected help with hormone treatment as well, but that is extraordinarily inexpensive. It costs about as much as the painkillers that the military throws out like candy.

That is the sad part. I value her being open, but why that party? The only reason in reality we are still all individuals and she still puts money over her own self interests. She can afford that luxury because of her skill and history, but most Trans she claims to want to support wont get as rich as she has, so how selfless is it really? 

I wont go as far as saying she isn't genuine in her support of LGBT, I am sure she does. But why that party who even today does everything to keep those like her in the closet. It makes no sense to me. 

I am an atheist, and even liberal Christians don't understand me, but they wont throw me out of the party or expect me to be quiet.

People are not always reasonable in that which they support, which is logically confusing.

In the end, I suppose I see how a rich person would want to save his income above anything else, even above the assurance of social equality.

I'm with everybody here who says if someone is fit to serve by every rational metric, they should be able to.

With Caitlynn, I also respect her coming out, given especially how public it would be. I respect the athletic career she had as Bruce and read Bruce's book on fitness as a teen. (Long after it was released)
But she seems entitled sometimes, and when she talks politics I cringe.
