It's the 'pub version of the dems plea to invalidate an election.  I suppose if there isn't an election in the first place, there won't be any call afterwards to change the result via executive fiat or deus ex mechina or acclamation.

I just don't understand why people can't look past party lines and recognize when someone is truly bad for America. I mean, every president has it's loyal, zealous supporters. But there seems there should be a limit. If these people who really support this man and his cronies call themselves patriots, then they really aren't the patriots they claim to be.

All you have to do is look around the world and you will see a lot of examples where people gladly support dipshits who are really, really bad for the nation as a whole.  Most people tend to treat their leader as if he was a god and will support him regardless of how bad he is.  Even the people who are being oppressed don't try to overthrow them.  Common examples:  the guys in Venezuela, the Philippines, Zimbabwe, North Korea, Turkey, Saudi Arabia.

I wouldn't put every citizen who lives under any government as always supporting their government. Plenty of refugees escape those places and we know from many they are glad they did. 

There is a danger in thinking like that because once you do, you can potentially alienate those living under those governments who might be willing to work with you. That is how lots of our intel gathering works. You find people within those places who hate their government and you use them to spy on that government and disrupt their agendas. 

North Korea is a horrible example, even if there were a majority that wanted to overthrow Kim, they would not be able to because he is a dictator. I don't know how old you are but back in 1989 this happened in China...

There are millions in China that would love to have a western open system. But because one party has controlled their government for so long it is virtually impossible even with those numbers, not to mention they have a population of 1 billion in any case.

But I do agree, even in the west we do sometimes elect some real assholes.

They apparently have doubts that Trump can be reelected. Few people probably believe that he'll actually get a second term, and they also have to know about the progressive movement going on. They don't want Bernie 2020, or anyone like Bernie 2020, so they just want to keep elections from happening at all.

One has to wonder if his approval rating, currently sitting at 39%, is this damn low - where is the fucking push back from the American people to get him out of office? Why is it that 8 months in and we are no closer to getting him out than we were two months in. 

The people started a revolution over tea, yet we continue to allow this asshole and other elected officials to keep ruining our country.

Go take a listen to Red Eye Radio in the wee hours of the night. It's quite disturbing and sad with how some who call into that show think and honestly believe anyone who disagrees with Trump and his policies are an enemy to America, or part of the deep state trying to get them. You would really think it was a Cultist church service just by listening to it.

Impeachment doesn't happen overnight. Investigations have to take place which Mueller is already doing and even a grand jury. And even if 45 himself does not get booted, it is a very safe bet with all the shit during his run and those in close circle this will be on par with Nixon as far as getting some convictions. That alone, will damage 45 with swing voters. 

But I also would not be surprised if 45 has real dirt on him the way he has behaved in his run and now while in office. If he were a murder suspect with the way he behaves any good detective would not take long to zero in on him.

It will take some time. It took time for Nixon too. Patience and persistence.

Cant change the past, and no use in crying over it. We can work to get him out either through impeachment or voting him out in 2020. Midterms matter as well and the more seats we flip in congress that will help us even more in 2020 no matter whom the GOP nominates. 


Focus, panic does not help. I agree he is a shitty president and it does piss me off that he managed to con just enough people with his vile demagoguery and scapegoating. But all we have is today and the future.
