Not quite. It may seem so to the untrained eye of a non vintage hat collector. What I'm wearing in the picture is a reblocked 1950s Stetson Open Road fedora in a Silverbelly color. The one you posted looks to be a recreation of a Confederate Western style hat, probably for someone who's involved Civil War reenactments. Totally two different hats. Nice try, though.

Tell us, then, how do you interpret a swastika flag? How do you interpret a NaZi salute? They strike me as very unambiguous.

As for folks with a Stars-and-Bars fetish, it's possible that they're racist. It's possible that they're thoughtless.

But in either event, they're defending a symbol of oppression ... no matter their color. That is the flag that led charges in a war which was fought to maintain chattel slavery.

The problem with A theist treating blacks as drat picks in pro sports, and CL using "I didn't do it" or "Why does Thena get to use that word but I dont" is that poor urban blacks have the same thing in common it poor rural whites, LACK OF LIVABLE INCOME. But only one party is perpetuating that by dividing the races, and that is the GOP.

I bet they cant name one urban GOP mayor that expanded programs. But at the same time, even in Oxycodine infested West Virgina mostly white, they GOP is claiming to want to fund addiction treatment, but guess who is going to pay the taxes for that? THE white middle class and the white working poor.

Like I said before, blacks in relationship to slavery and the Civil War are not draft picks in pro sports, not even their descendants should be thought of like that. Again, same with LGBT, Jenner saying, "Look, I support a party that hates me" again, my question would be WHY?

A -theist should not be questioning Thena or I, he should question blacks that support things that go against their own self interests, and the Civil War South was fought by men who went against blacks self intrests. 

But again, even outside the issue of race, even whites do this. My Mom was a teacher, always complained that teachers don't get paid enough, but was a lifetime mostly voting Republican a party that loves to gut funding for public schools.

So when A-Theist points to blacks who support things that go against their own self interests, what excuse does he have when I say whites do it too?

Because "Heritage" and "I didn't do it" and "we have blacks too" will never make slavery a good thing.
