Right on cue.... and adds a phony piece of fascist war-porn in for good measure.

But anyhow, wow. I feel old, really. Like my grandfather did. Kids these days...

I get to wondering (like I do a lot) how America and the rest of he world will be in 200 years.

In the year 2144, an entirely Wahhabi earth will provoke an interstellar war against the Voltones to convert them via the sword (well, peta-wave gamma pistol by then) and they fail in the attempt and are themselves subjugated into the Voltones Church of the Holy Gaseous Anomaly.

PRAISE GASEOUS ANOMALY !!!!

There is a difference though. Between the car murder in Charlottesville and the one in Barcelona I mean.

In Barcelona, the guy ran over completely innocent civilians who were just going about their normal day and minding their own business. In Charlottesville, the people who were targeted were specifically there protesting against the side that ran them over.

Maybe that's more indicative of a hate crime than a terrorist crime. Maybe that is what differentiates the 2 crimes? (not saying one is any less unjust than the other though)

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

And what?  That makes it okay?  Show me where your pope claims that.

RE: Barcelona terrorist attack
I don't see the difference. Usually hate crimes are targeted against an individual or set of individuals for murder, torture, etc,. They're usually constrained to a small number of people as victims.

Now let's look at Charlottesville and Barcelona:

- both used vehicles as a mass attack weapon
- both were targeted at crowds of people

Now let's look at the Middle East (I know, I know, but please stay with me) :

- the vast majority of terrorists strikes are suicide bombers into a crowd

The key point what makes it terrorism is due to targeting the populace.

By the way, did it occur to you that Heather Heyer lived in Charlottesville? It was her home town. And she was murdered there by a mass attack committed by a Nazi trying to kill her and others.

If it smells like a terrorist attack, uses the means of a terrorist attack and targets the populace, its a terrorist attack. Does that help?

Seems like you're needlessly splitting hairs there.
Both ISIS and the neo Nazi assassin last Saturday look at their respective victims with deep contempt and blind, ignorant rage.
One sees their victims as western infidels who deserve to die and the other sees their victims as SJWs who deserve to die.

Let the prosecutors parse out the charges. Attempting to differentiate one atrocity from the other is an unnecessary distraction.
