Well, I'd say it's good to know who you most agree with to vote for/ learn about different ideologies to know which one you agree with the most.

What does that have to do with labeling myself? It's useful if you're running for office and you want to quickly communicate the general idea of the politics you support. I'm doing nothing of the sort. I don't even stick to voting for any branch of label categories.

Well, I guess if you don't really have any opinions differing from the status quo there's really no need to label yourself. But if you're, say, an anarchist, it's good to label yourself in order to organize parties. Buuut That's just my opinion so take it with a hint of salt.
