And as the commentators have noted with NJ governor Christie, no matter what, (barring raping, dismembering and eating puppies on steps of the Supreme Court building) a politician's popularity won't drop much below the 15% area. So whenever they give a new number for Trumply, keep in mind that you can subtract a further 15% off of whatever new low he is at since 15% is essentially zero. The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
