Hello memebers of the Athiest Fourms!
Just curious as to know your thoughts on Nintendo recently, what products they're making, your feelings on them
I also wanna see what people want to see from Nintendo as of late,
I personally want them to buy out SEGA cause Sega has been hanging onto Nintendo and Sony by the stringss and Nintendo could make good use of their franchises such as, Sonic.
(They already have sonic mania on the switch which seems awesome)
So, discuss!

I might buy one of the SNES special packs that's coming out, if I can get my hands on it. For nostalgia.
I'm Playstation guy, I don't think I'll ever stray for a newer system.

Nintendo's been making some extremely poor decisions lately. Their Wii U library is rather lackluster as it is, but the actual big-name games they've come out with for it before stopping that production line have been appallingly bad. Star Fox Zero is hardly the breakthrough anyone would have wanted, and Paper Mario: Color Splash continues to completely miss the point of the original project that Sticker Star began to deviate from (technically Super Paper Mario already did, but at least you still leveled up and had partners).
Now they've released the Switch where much of its library is either games best reserved for handhelds (Tetris/PuyoPuyo? Really? Or Bomberman) or remakes or alternate ports of games available on the Wii U (MarioKart 8, Zelda BotW), and zero access to the extremely user-friendly eShop on the Wii U and 3DS. It's like they WANT to fail. How any privately-run company can think it will sustain itself by completely ignoring the wishes and desires of its customer base is beyond me.
So far, for me, the Wii U, in spite of everything, is the pinnacle of Nintendo to me. The Wii does come close because you could still play Gamecube games on there and the Wii U can't but there's only a handful of games on there that are truly must-have. So until the Switch not only gives access to the eShop (apparently there's doubt that may ever happen at all), but makes it possible to get Gamecube games downloaded on the Virtual Console, I'm not wasting my time or money on one. My friend already got one and for some reason he only seems to like playing MarioKart 8 Deluxe, in spite of having MarioKart 8 on the Wii U already. He just likes being able to take it on the road because it's the portable hybrid console that the Wii U wishes it was (which I don't care about since I have a 3DS too).
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?
---
There is no better way to convey the least amount of information in the greatest amount of words than to try explaining your religious views.

Those are some very valid points, waiting till the more games come out seems like a smart idea, a mistake I made with the vita,
However it's still gonna host the next pokemon games, and, a 13 year old kid like me's still gotta plat pokemon,
Eitherway, most of the things like a browser, virtual console, and an eshop should be coming soon from what I've heard,
Games nintendo create or publish have a large amount of replayablity and I'm all for that, that's another reason why I want to purchase the switch, so I can have accsess to upcoming games like that,
If Mother 3 comes out on the switch, then my god, I will 100 Percent buy it no matter what

Last console I bought was a SNES. Now I'm exclusively into PC gaming, and have been since 1995 or thereabouts. I remember one of the first games I bought for PC was Command & Conquer. The difference in quality and gaming experience made me never look back.
