The Green Mile was a Stephen King book made into a movie and it is phenomenal. One of my favorite movies.

I liked it. tbh I thought it was a comedy more than a horror because I laughed WAY MORE than I was scared. Like a 15:1 ratio.
(To be clear, I mean I laughed at the parts that were supposed to be funny)

It has occurred to me that The Knights who Say Ni might have be refraining from saying IT in order to prevent IT from being called forth from the depths of hell to reek havoc on the world's children...

Shawshank Redemption was Stephen King. Stand by Me, Pet Semetary, Misery, The Shining, Dolores Claiborne, Rose Red . . . all good adaptations. I agree that there are some really horrible ones, though. The Langoliers? Fuck. The Stand? Hate it.

I laughed pretty hard at the part where IT was teasing Stan. I couldn't help it.

Yeah I didn't think IT was scary at all. It was more goofy dark humor and fun. It was done very well and the hot guy playing the clown did a really good job.
