Harry Dean Stanton Dead

Harry Dean is gone at age 91.
He was an under-appreciated actor whose work in Paris, Texas is one of the more quietly heart-wrenching performances I've seen. Also, for people of a certain age, he is memorable in Repo Man. R.I.P. sir. 
I enjoyed him in "Wise Blood" as Asa Hawks.
God thinks it's fun to confuse primates. Larsen's God!

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist. This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair. Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second. That means there's a situation vacant.'

Harry Dean Stanton's singing was hit and miss. He never was known a great musician. Check out his singing in "Cool Hand Luke". (Just Google it).
