What would you do if you found out that God has nothing to do with religions?

RE: What would you do if you found out that God has nothing to do with religions?
There are a small handful of members here whom I don't take seriously because they're pretty ridiculous and I suspect not completely right in the head. I won't name names, but when these people spew their nastiness at me, it doesn't bother me one bit because I know they are nut jobs lol. I am only bothered when a respected and/or "normal" member here says something insulting to me. So I don't get people getting at all rilled up by the likes of Rik or any other trolly type person that comes by.

Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

God never said what is written in the Bible.  Yep, I agree with that.  In fact, I'll take it one step further and say that god never said what anybody claims god said, anytime in human history, anywhere.
God will never judge me.  I'm down with that one too.

So, you're sounding a little Deistic.  I used to speculate (before I ditched theism completely) that IF god existed, god started this human experiment and then just left it alone.
Because if you interact with the experiment, you screw up the results.

But the "what would you do if" question is kind of ridiculous.  No teachings, no judging, no proof of existence, so -- what's the question?  No need to do anything.  No need to speculate on the existence of something that can't be proved to exist.  So we just go on as usual, no change required.

I just figured since I can be extremely intense sometimes.

One moment, I'm normal, and the next BAM.

Get it right and world fame is yours.

Good luck

Lucky, lucky me then.  Smile

My definition is that FSM is like the one who has been described in the thousand of NDEs.

1) He-she (FSM doesn't have sex nor a physical body although he can incarnate) doesn't judge.
You rather judge yourself as you will be able to see your past mistakes.
2) FSM is supreme spiritual love.
3) Hate is out.
4) There is only one FSM.
5) FSM is everywhere and everything is made out of FSM.

I Agree with you 100% FSM Grin

Just for the benefit of those who take these sorts of things literally: he's joking.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

I thought the staff here could do the IP address thing, which is why I never thought to create an alternate personality in the form of a Poe.
