What?
How the fuck did you start a pinky and the brain reference and then not get it when I referenced the other part of their routine?
Religions were invented to impress and dupe illiterate, superstitious stone-age peasants. So in this modern, enlightened age of information, what's your excuse? Or are you saying with all your advantages, you were still tricked as easily as those early humans?

Why can't cartoons be good like that anymore?

I think the golden age was back when Batman the Animated Series first came out. The next few years were awesome. Now so many of them are probably more oriented toward adults than kids.

The ones with just Batman were great. The ones with Robin were shit. The Spiderman ones were cheesy but occasionally watchable. The Iron Man ones looked cool on the surface but were boring and unrelatable. The X-Men ones (the original X-Men ones) were perfection besides the shitty animation. Dexter's Laboratory was good. Johnny Bravo was hilariously obnoxious. Cow and Chicken was funny because it was so crazy. Looney Tunes were classics. Tom and Jerry was the best with regards to the funny cartoons. But not the Chuck Jones ones. And the Hanna Barbara only ones were hit and miss. The Fred Quimby ones were best.

This'll be the last off-topic thing here, I promise!
I liked almost all of them, though Batman's fourth season where the animation changed was really sub-par. But I think Spider-Man's show from the 90's was one of the best things they had going, with X-Men as a close second (though the crossover between them was underwhelming.)
