I also recently saw this article titled Woman dies from bee sting therapy promoted by Gwyneth Paltrow
but it doesn't seem that the dead woman was directly tied to Goop

I have a recommendation for people who ask about "alternative medicine" in my specialty field.
I tell them all they need is an altar, an Aztec priest with an obsidian knife, and a need to please a god of the underworld.
