Yo! I have a couple trips lined up to DC this next year. My best friend lives there and he has made it known that there are no excuses, I WILL go over there for some of his family events. So, I’ll be going a couple times in 2018. June for sure. Maybe February. And whenever Beccs comes to the states.

I hosted a fairly epic meet at my house in 2013, but that was for friends from another forum (Rationalia).

I suppose I should get on with the making new friends here now that I'm on this forum.

You know Joods, I was just in DC for the weekend. I know you're nearby. I was incredibly busy though.. trying to secure employment after graduation.

Hmmm...

I'd go, but I have some "buts" I would have to deal with first.

... but I'm broke
... but I'd have to get permission to take the car (kinda sucks dealing with the 'rents, but at least I have use of a vehicle)
... but I'd have to ask for the time off work
... but my cat
... (but I'm not sure I wouldn't make things kinda uncomfortable being that I'm still getting over... some stuff)

Dates might help some of it. It would be fun to meet those of you whom I haven't met... and to meet again those I have. Especially since I'm still in FL, and don't plan to be for too much longer.
