Oh ... shouldn't they be? Confused

No, not really...

Statistics have shown that people who live in homes with many strong coloured walls are more susceptible to mental health issues and loneliness...and poor dress sense.

Phew! That's not me then. The pixies keep me company and help me with my wardrobe.

Quote: No one is making it to Pacman with the site looking like that.
Now you are just exadurating. The Notepad++ site looks very similar, yet people download it.

What exactly would you suggest?
Quote: Because it looks like something that would’ve been hosted on Geocities. You might be writing HTML5, but the design screams late 90s, with a table-based layout.
For a more realistic effect, you can run your browser in 256 colors!

Bah, forget it. You don't actually want anyone's help. You just want beta testers.

No it doesn't. The layout, colors, fonts, are completely different, and it has background textures. That site is very readable, with minimal distractions (no animations, hint hint). The only real similarity is that it uses left column, vertical navigation.

I mean, maybe web development/design isn't your strength. That's okay. But to say that the Notepad++ site is very similar to yours simply isn't true.

So, the real question is, do you want help, or were you simply looking for a pat on the back for an objectively horrid design, and now you're defensive about it? Because using modern technology (HTML5) doesn't automatically make the design good. And your design isn't.

Don’t use 000webhost for a start.

Will you guys tell me how is the PacMan working on your smartphone or not?

In my honest opinion, the design of this forum's desktop version is terrible. It's full of distractions and renders the forum almost useless on slower connections. That's why I am using the mobile version even when I am at home.
