Your Halloween Movie Lineup
What scary or Halloween related movies are you planning on watching this year?

I'm kind of tired of the same old stuff, so maybe you guys will provide me with something new to watch.

Added Crash to my list.

I'll probably also watch the new It.

As for Hammer Films, I found this link: http://www.hammerfilms.com/category/film...pe=project
I'm sure I'll find something, maybe.

Goonies just doesn't strike me as a horror film, lol.

What a coincidence: I'm currently watching his take on Naked Lunch. As for horror movies, I don't have anything planned; I just rewatched Black Mirror Series 3 for my Anglotopia column, and I suspect I'll be spending much of the day watching Season 2 of Game of Thrones.

Weren't you the one who told me you couldn't continue watching Black Mirror after the Shut up and dance episode?

Or maybe I'm confusing you with someone else?

No, I didn't say I couldn't continue watching it. I said I couldn't continue reviewing it. Hell, I wasn't even sure I would be allowed to cover The National Anthem or The Waldo Moment until I brought up the idea of reviewing 15 Million Merits to my boss. Eventually, though, I figured out I could review it without bringing up that CP plot point, but I could only do so by mentioning that there was a plot twist so severe I (whose favourite film literally coined the phrase Ultraviolence) could not, in good conscience, bring it up on Anglotopia. I think the closest I came was mentioning that, the first time I watched it, I found myself thinking that if he let it leak, he could turn the tables on the blackmailers fairly easily, but it turned out he had a damn good reason to not do that.

I suppose I should have figured I could do it eventually; I managed to take on The National Anthem while mentioning the PM fucking a pig exactly once. When I did The Waldo Moment, I made sure the only current event I mentioned was the current season of South Park, even as the comparisons between Waldo and Trump are too obvious to ignore (since Anglotopia prefers to keep politics to a minimum.)

Also, I'm fairly certain burnout played a role in my initial refusal to review Series 3; I devoted over 7500 words to Series 1 and 2, and Series 3 was longer than the previous two combined. I was knackered after writing it and was not ready to do the third season. Eventually, throughout the year, I ended up feeling ready to do so. I wound up devoting a bit less than 9000 words to Series 3 in all.

It was a while ago; at least I got it right that it was you even if the reasoning was off.

Why is your boss such a prick, though? And your job is writing reviews for television shows? That's so freaking cool. I wish I had that job, as many shows as I watch:

Don't get me wrong, that thread is not precisely a "review" thread, but I think I'd be pretty good at reviewing.
