The major problem, I found, with the religious forum was that it catered too much to oversensitive religious people.

You know, it's kind of ironic that, as much as they may consider us closed-minded, it's the atheist forums that tend to be more open minded with regards to allowing people with differing beliefs. We give people like A Theist a lot of shit here, but we still keep him around. We at least take the time to discuss why we think he's full of shit on most issues (at least he has some fairly decent taste in music; I know he likes Johnny Cash). If he's a regular on any other, Christian forums, how long you think most of us would last there if we spoke our minds?

It honesty seemed to me the religious forum was going out of its way to give me warnings about things that honestly didn't matter.

I was a perfectly kind poster, and then out of nowhere a nonsense warning.

Ironically, I never once reported anything. Even though I had means and opportunity. I simply think reporting out of spite or because one gets one's feelings hurt by certain content is immature.

I stay far away from anti pasta forums. I find it's a deafening echo chamber of psalms and those random images of jebus with the fluffy quotes pasted on them.

Religious faith is delusion disguising reality.

If god was real, he would not need theists to inform us that he is real.

Salvation is merely the cure religion sells in order to rid one of the fairy tale sin that religion also sells. Buying into religion leaves one intellectually broke.
