That's true.

However, I'm hard pressed to think of another person on TV who has so consistently and patiently connected the dots on the Russia question.

Please understand that I am not complaining about the quality of the journalism she and her staff do.  She just annoys the piss out of me talking about the same shit over and over to get to the next commercial so she keeps you coming back.

Oh, I understand. That sort of thing annoys me too. But I more happily put up with it in her case than I normally do because there is usually something worth waiting for after the commercial break.

Rachel Maddow is my Newsie girl crush.

My opinion on TV journalists is to understand that they have a point of view and they run their programs from that point of view so tread lightly in terms of going all in with them.

I like Maddow because she of the way she presents her top of the hour story with a deep dive that often connects to something historical. I understand and totally sympathize at times with how she belabors the point (Did someone say the "Trump's tax return" show?).

I like Joy because she really puts some of her guests on the spot, like she did with this gal trying to talk up the Uranium thing. I don't much care whether she's flip flopped on political personalities or not, I don't watch her for that stuff.

I'm kind of developing a fondness for Nicolle Wallace.  With the WLB around she's the perfect butthurt republicunt to rip him a new asshole!

I like Samantha Bee. Only recently learned about her.

She's a comedian.  Similar to the WLB but Sam is funnier.

Don't they all do that?  Remind us 5 or 6 times about the important story coming up after these messages until they finally give it too you and then repeat it several times as if they were trying to wrap their own head around it.  At some point one to several talking heads are brought on pontificate on the same story, rarely bringing up anything that hasn't already been said.
