Had a conversation with your mum, she informed me you've been wrong before.
What is going on between you and TV's mother? When did this get started and what will your boyfriend say when he finds out?

Wouldn't you like to know.
It started recently.
My boyfriend would be more worried if I was having "conversations" with men.

I married my first husband at the age of 20 and we had been together for 4 years already. I 'wore the pants' in that relationship. I was always right. That relationship ended not long after the marriage happened.
Now I'm 28, older/wiser, and learning from my last marriage. I've been with my husband for 5 years married 1. I'm 'right' only when we both know it dealt with something that has truly upset me. IE he said something insensitive without realizing it and he apologizes when I tell him I was hurt by it. He is 'right' when I come down from my crazy episodes and realize he puts up with a lot from me. The rest of the time I feed him to get him in a better mood, he lets me sleep on my anger, or we watch the newest episode of Bob's Burgers (yes I'm being serious, the season premier just recently got us over a stupid spat)

I agree that being right is greatly over rated. In almost any relationship one can usually find some contribution of their own in any tiff that arises. That is a real world skill well worth cultivating for those not committed to a hermit's life.

I'd rather be not guilty than right.

@ Whatevs
That's how it seems to me. Person a argues that they're right about a, person b retorts that -they're- right about thing b..both insists that the thing they;re right about is the right thing to be right about...and then nobody gets laid.
To hell with that noise.
(obviously all bets are off if your spouse likes to pick fights for makeup sex....at that point I;d argue that she put too much caffeine in my coffee)
I am the Infantry. I am my country’s strength in war, her deterrent in peace. I am the heart of the fight… wherever, whenever. I carry America’s faith and honor against her enemies. I am the Queen of Battle. I am what my country expects me to be, the best trained Soldier in the world. In the race for victory, I am swift, determined, and courageous, armed with a fierce will to win. Never will I fail my country’s trust. Always I fight on…through the foe, to the objective, to triumph overall. If necessary, I will fight to my death. By my steadfast courage, I have won more than 200 years of freedom. I yield not to weakness, to hunger, to cowardice, to fatigue, to superior odds, For I am mentally tough, physically strong, and morally straight. I forsake not, my country, my mission, my comrades, my sacred duty. I am relentless. I am always there, now and forever. I AM THE INFANTRY! FOLLOW ME!

Bold, mine.
Then you're not a very good atheist, are you?
Hmmm?

I'm always right. Sometimes I let her think she's right just for the hell of it, and go to bed nodding to myself.
When I wear my bobble hat, nodding to myself looks a bit silly.

I didn't say it, she did.
But you believed her when she invoked her imaginary friend.
That's on you.
