I don't hand out candy, just disappointment.

Take this one

teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

It's been 25 years since a kid stopped here on Halloween....

It's not that we discourage it or anything -

Kids just don't want to walk half a mile or more between houses.....

...

Maybe the minefield has SOMETHING to do with it...... Wink

Halloween is all but cancelled in my hometown due to COVID. We didn't even get trick-or-treat candy. I'm not even bothering to put on my Rorschach costume this year.

When a kid knocks on your door and shouts "trick or treat" you're not allowed to stab them for trespassing.

Being on the proper side of the International Date Line, it is now All Saints’ Day.

Please continue the tradition by dressing up as your favourite saint and going out to sell indulgences door-to-door.
