I'm wondering with all these variants that a few (the pork sausage one on particular) that have generated some controversy if that reaction isn't actually selective outrage.

Either the nativity is sacrosanct or it isn't.
 The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
