Pai is just gonna keep changing the language till he is able to con just enough of the population to not protest( or just wait out the protesters). Removing any and all consumer protection is highly profitable for ISPs, so they are gonna keep pushing this till it get's through.

I don't think he cares about protesters at all.  Especially not while Verizon and Comcast are cutting him checks.

At this point, he's just trying to do damage control.  Spreading whatever lies he can (including the lie that title ii stifles investment, which even telecom had to admit it didn't) hoping people on the right will believe him.  (And a lot of them do

Misinformation has become key to the agenda of the Trump Administration.  Sadly, it's hard to fight misinformation when people are so keen to believe what they want.  Even sadder, without net neutrality, it's going to be even harder to fight misunderstandings.

Worst thing is that in few years Pai will come on some talk show and apologize. He will say that he didn't know that it was going to be that bad and it will be expected for us to feel sorry for him.
teachings of the Bible are so muddled and self-contradictory that it was possible for Christians to happily burn heretics alive for five long centuries. It was even possible for the most venerated patriarchs of the Church, like St. Augustine and St. Thomas Aquinas, to conclude that heretics should be tortured (Augustine) or killed outright (Aquinas). Martin Luther and John Calvin advocated the wholesale murder of heretics, apostates, Jews, and witches. - Sam Harris, "Letter To A Christian Nation"

Perhaps when people stop being distracted by spending their time sharing pictures of cats on internet and watching tv shows they'll turn to dethroning Trump.

Or maybe people could sign their protest to FCC on this link using these guidelines

Lelz, sounds nice..but apparently there's an army of bots sending anti-net neutrality emails to the same addy. Which batch do you think the grifters in charge are going to find more compelling?

It's astounding that the Federal Communications Commission is so far behind the times that they can't even place a simple Captcha to help weed out the bots.

Instead of appointing political hacks to the head of the commission they should work toward electing nerds from MIT's IT staff.

Indeed here's an interesting tweet:

It seems government needs Mueller investigation behind every Trump's policy

Also apparently nearly 20 states have joined New York to sue Trump's FCC and stop the rollback so, who knows, maybe assholes don't win in the end.
