The most inspirational movies that left an indelible impression on you!
What is the one movie you watched that changed your life the most!
Maybe not only about one movie, we can talk generally about movies that have the power to change our perception of life/ world etc...
Some movies can make you think out of box. Sometimes they can make you question yourself and look back at your life or ...whatever Wink
There is a true and honest kid inside each of us. When we grow up, often we get so serious that we forget the wonder of life!!
Sometimes these inspiring movies can make us a better person, helping us believe in ourself and look for the bright side no matter what is happening in our life....

hmmm... are you looking for the right dose of motivation for today? or not only for today...?
So take the time to watch an inspirational movie can change your world view ;P and put you into a more positive frame of mind....

and then share with us your experiences, thoughts, feelings... Smile

how about
- One Flew Over The Cuckoo’s Nest
- Star Wars
- The Shawshank Redemption
- Good Will Hunting
- It's a Wonderful Life
- The Terminal... and so on
"Alone is what I have. Alone protects me."
“I may be on the side of the angels but don’t think for one second that I am one of them.”
“The important thing is not to stop questioning. Curiosity has its own reason for existence. One cannot help but be in awe when he contemplates the mysteries of eternity, of life, of the marvelous structure of reality. It is enough if one tries merely to comprehend a little of this mystery each day."

The Green Mile.

Mrs Doubtfire.

Enter the Dragon.

Ex Machina.

Toy Story (the original).

I, Robot.

As Good As It Gets.

That's off the top of my head. That isn't a movie. As far as I know there isn't a movie called "That's off the top of my head." What I mean is that the above list is off the top of my head, and there are definitely many more movies that have inspired me, but I am having mental blocks right now and hence cannot think of them.

I liked the Hunger Games movies a lot. Girl power and all that...

And I'll have to agree with Ham about Green Mile as well. Excellent, excellent movie. A great story, very well acted, powerful, and very anti death penalty.

Also, a couple religious ones. (The Passion, Jesus of Nazareth)
"Of course, everyone will claim they respect someone who tries to speak the truth, but in reality, this is a rare quality. Most respect those who speak truths they agree with, and their respect for the speaking only extends as far as their realm of personal agreement. It is less common, almost to the point of becoming a saintly virtue, that someone truly respects and loves the truth seeker, even when their conclusions differ wildly."

I guess .. i know what you're talking about ...

It seems to me that in different periods of my life, different movies or music have had an some influence on me .. my mood, my views, life, love....
I remember when I was a kid,
...the movies that the impressed me the most at that time ..."Star Wars", I went to the cinema probably seven times to watch them, also "Back to the future" or "The Goonies".... and than i remember "Once Upon a Time in America" or "The Untouchables" with De Niro....

i'll be back when i can remember... the next periods of my life and movies from that time...

My dad was a high school teacher at the time and he had a  fellow teacher who owned a movie theater, and back then it was only two movies in a split building. Anywho, we often got free tickets because of that. I teased my mom as an adult about that, "WHAT THE FUCK WERE YOU THINKING?" I was a kid, and it scared the shit out of me. I had nightmares for weeks. Big Grin

To this day I will not step in the ocean if I cant see the sand under my feet.

Oh shit yeah, the entire Back to the Future trilogy is an absolute masterpiece.

Oh I thought of another one, The Truman Show.

Um actually, Caligula as far as porn goes, was extremely well acted, had a plot too. Malcolm McDowell and Peter O'Toole and John Gielgud were in it. All a list actors for their time. But certainly not for general audiences or the faint of heart.

They have edited it to an "R" version which if you don't like all the graphic stuff, you can still get into the plot.
