I'm a musician. I majored in Composition with piano as my primary instrument. Been called to music since as far back as I can remember.

I love video games. Now I'm not very good at them, but I love them still! I play mostly single player. Closest to multiplayer I get is forum text based RP, and MUDs. Those can be so much fun!

Huge Star Wars fan! Thursday cannot come fast enough!

I should probably mention that I'm a Christian. Just gonna go ahead and clear that up right now so there's no confusion on that end lol.

Nice to meet y'all!

Little advice. Treat everyone here as individuals, we are not a gang. We don't always agree on everything. And do expect to get some blunt responses. It isn't about your rights, but your logic. We wont barbecue your kittens or eat your babies. Many of us here, including me, were former believers. Don't assume we lack experience with debating religion, or science, that would be a HUGE mistake on your part.

Outside that, some of us here like Star Wars too, I only like the original 3 myself. But we like all sorts of things, some books, some movies, some sports, some cat people like me, some dog people, not me.

A Star Wars question regarding the Last Jedi: who do you think Rey is?

My original instinct was that she's a Skywalker, but I'm honestly not so sure. I'm trying to go in with an open mind.

1.  Do you have a favourite pianist?

2.  Do you have a favourite Star Wars character?

3.  Anyone who joins AF in December is required to buy me a mad cool Christmas gift - how much are you willing to spend?

Boru

1. That's... hmm, no. Because I prefer different pianists based on which pieces they play. Claudio Arrau has to get major kudos though because of his unique style and the sheer amount of material he recorded.

2. Hmm... I can't decide between Jedi Grandmaster Yoda, or Emperor Sheev Palpatine.

3. I only take requests in the form of handwritten letters. Please make sure to forward your address to the North Pole.

Welcome to the site!

Aside from praise and worship, I love the 80s and 90s ballad style, and most art music from the late.  Classical and Romantic eras. Beethoven, Chopin, Liszt, and Rachmaninoff are my favorites but if I'm honest I'm very rusty with my classical playing right now! Lol

Yeah I don't play much classical music anymore either. I did RCM as a kid, but then when I finished, I started just finding the advanced piano sheets for whatever contemporary songs I'm listening to at that time. I find it super fun and I play pretty much every day, whereas when I was just playing technically difficult classical music it was more of a chore.

I've never played praise and worship music on the piano, but I did sing in my school's Hallelujah Christmas choir a few years ago and it was a blast!
