His seat is one for a Class 2 Senator, so he'll be up for re-election in November 2020. So, in his case, it's closer to three.

And though the Drive By Truckers are technically from Athens, Georgia, the two members who have been in the band from the beginning are both from Muscle Shoals:

I've got nothing but respect for Alabama tonight. I figure a good number of people who would ordinarily never consider voting for a democrat did so tonight on principle. If only the national republican party had as much principle as these Alabamian voters perhaps that shit gibbon would be impeached. How soon before they start distancing themselves from Trump I wonder.

The south is able to make a rational decision from time to time which can be refreshing at times. The numbers we have though do not lie, that sick freak still got a lot of votes though. This will not be the end of Roy though, he will keep pushing and denying the fact he molested girls. If we can get him investigated, why can't we get The orange haired gorilla on his abuse of woman?

Alabama is a red state (folks don't seem to hold that idea in their heads for very long for some reason) and that the Alabama Dems felt compelled to put up such an unpalatable candidate is concerning.

Pains me to point this out, but events proceed for REALITY, not our fantasies and dreams. And the reality is, Jones is a red state Dem and he's virtually guaranteed to be running against a considerably less flawed candidate than Moore in just 3 years.
Enjoy the seat while it's blue, but don't expect it to stay blue if no one can see the diffy between Pelosi or Jones in that seat.
It's a red state people, and business as usual is means that blue seat in the senate is as precarious as anything, and no one in the Dem hierarchy is going to give that inconvenient truth much credence.
The granting of a pardon is an imputation of guilt, and the acceptance a confession of it.
