I'm gonna guess there are  more than one of those containers, amirite?

My point is that saying a universe containing a multiverse is like saying a family member containing the family.

And if youre making a joke, its lost on me. Sorry.

To me, this whole scientific branch is basically someone smoking a joint and saying, "It's all. . . circles in circles in circles, maaaannnn!"

That being said, fractals.  There's no reason why you couldn't have universes nested inside super-universes.  There's also no reason why every singularity in OUR universe might not itself be a complete universe in its own right.  Who knows?  Maybe at the heart of every subatomic particle is an entire dimension.  There's really no limit to what might constitute reality.

But at some point you have to stop smoking that joint and ask. . . what seems to be the case based on what we can currently observe?  And I'm 99% sure that the multiverse theory is purely mathematical rather than scientific.

Im sure people in the distant past were thinking something similar about people speculating about entities beyond this planet or beyond the solar system or galaxy.

And yes, a lot of the hypotheses and interpretations popping up recently out of nowhere (silly joke intended) is based on a lot of maths. I have been told that the many worlds interpretation is mathematically the neatest explanation of the shit going on at the quantum level. Other interpretations have to add extra stuff to the formulas and equations or whatever. I have no idea exactly the details, so you might want to consult the smarter people like Alex_K about the maths.

It seems to me this whole branch really reflects the fact that until quantum mechanics, mathematics really serves mainly to validate which of the many possible explanations which our brains, condition to cognitate based on our macroscopic experiences accumulated over perhaps 500 million years of neurological evolution, can fall back on its hardware and firmware to visualize before any final math.

Once we reached quantum mechanics, we appear to have exceeded the utmost limits of our natural firm and hardware to visualize. So math is becomes our main way forward.

Maybe in another 150,000 years, we can develop a innate capacity to visualize quantum mechanism before any math.

God can create. Go in the corner and repeat 100 times or until you understand. For his own purposes, multiverses could exist. Just as he could put mosses on a galaxy far, far away. None of this metaphysical speculation has anything to do with human deciding their eternal destiny, eternity with or without God. Remember, *Redemption is available to all. It's not about believing in the existence of God, but about securing one's eternal destiny.

*The Lord is not slow in keeping his promise, as some understand slowness. Instead he is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.

Can he? Nevermind the logic, have we seen evidence creation is even possible?

Quote:~mosses on a galaxy far, far away.

Did you mean Mos Eisley on a galaxy far, far away. because that would make a lot more sense!

Snowtracks, I see no credible evidence for your god and have no belief in it.  As such, it's absurd to consider it a player in one's alleged "eternal destiny."

Based on what I know and believe about life, the universe and everything, I am strongly of the opinion that my current self terminates forever at the  moment of physical death, with no aspect of my personality surviving.  My destiny, as I see it, is simply for the atoms of my body to be recycled into various other things that may or may not possess sentience.  I have no need of your mythology, and the chances of me accepting this alleged "redemption" are effectively zero.

The reason for people to SAY there is no God is because of natural pride and self-sufficiency. When a human spirit humbly accepts God’s righteous condemnation of sin by awaking to its depravity then contrition will lead one to God’s plan of redemption by Christ Jesus.
What many don’t realize is that God doesn’t possess unlimited power (albeit, immense) since his nature won’t allow sin —- God can’t sin, can’t accept sin, and most importantly can’t overlook sin. When people agree with God on the sin question and accept his remedy, then they are declared righteous for eternity; otherwise, they declare that sin is alright by God which blasphemy, the eternal sin which is not forgivable.

bold mine

Especially create male pronouns. When did god create a penis for itself? Seems kind of silly to have a sex organ when, according to you guys, there is only one.
I don't have an anger problem, I have an idiot problem.
