Quote:. I said "many feminist movements are out of line in being against men."
Not a single modern mainstream feminist group who opposes men's issues(when they exist ) . And feminist allied groups have done more to help men then the MRA . Who are only concerned with filling their coffers using mens issues as a hook.
Quote:I'm not sure what you mean about "discussing the merits of her feminism." I somply said that the documentary is about a woman who started out calling herself a feminist and now says she no longer does. Which is true.
Considering the only reason she abandoned her feminism is because other feminists would not support her project and it's shady methods .Despite originally having a ton of support . And then she got huge donations from MRA despite the fact she said she would not accept donations from interested parties .
Quote:I'm not "frustrated about people's opinions on feminism." I'm frustrated at people having a problem with others saying some men's issues are valid. Im frustrated with people having a problem with a person being for womens rights but choosing not to use the lable of feminist on themselves. Im frustrated about people calling ME anti feminist for simply saying some men's issues are worthy of discussion.
Your the one who choose a film that was made by shady dealings .And stars repugnant douchebags who throughout the film are depicted as fucking saints .And has received a lot of flak from reviewers . As an opener to this subject . Did you think no one would bring any of that up . And the rest of this rant is a strawman .

It's always amusing to see men explain about women's issues....to women. I was wrong...feminists do make sense, this kind of behavior is what is meant by "mansplaining"... This is so ridiculous, how do these men know so much about women's grievances that they're an expert at it?... Even more of an expert than a actual living woman...that has actually lived as a woman..that is seriously bizarre. Yes, you do need a vagina to mansplain about women's issues....to women.
Oh and btw comparing racism and sexism is about the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen, black people gets gunned down like crazy, there is actual clip of a cop saying "I only shoot ni***"s", prisons are privatized so they have quotas to fill... The kind of issues black people face and women face is not even comparable because the kind of issues black people face is magnitudes more severe, they get gunned down on a regular basis ffs, if a woman walks into a store the clerk doesn't go "argh this freaking woman" unless that is some neckbearded edge lord, men are actually MORE nice to women than they are to men(this is not even contestable btw) but black people face a lot of vitriol just for being black.
"Men's issues are caused by women's issues not being properly addressed"
Lmao what kind of logic is this? Men's issues are caused by men's issues! not women's issues not being addressed, I'm pretty sure one could think up a way of how solving men's issues without solving women's issues would indirectly benefit women as well...but that line of reasoning doesn't even make any sense.
It's like seeing a burning house and going "oh this issue is caused by not installing proper fire safety equipment, so the way we will solve this problem(the house freaking burning) is by urging people to install fire safety equipment across the country"

It would be mansplaining what I did if I acted like I knew more about a topic than a woman who has clearly shown they understand the topic better than I do.
Im not too proud of a person, though. In case this is what has been happening, I will ponder this to myself and do my best to avoid mansplaining next time.

Maybe if you'd like a decent conversation you will actually shitcan the pedantry and simply address the points? Forgive me for not holding my breath, though. I've tried, was rebuffed, and ain't going to waste time on such a vapid cunt again.
And -- you needn't worry about any warnings ... a nice piece of window-dressing, but you and I both know it won't be landing on you. Spare me your edginess.
So still avoiding the fact that your post was as clear as wood and you want to act like I should have been able to tell where your response ended and your rambling began? Roger.
Could you just break up with your girlfriend and fuck off to mope for awhile again?

Whataboutism
Just because social struggles are different in different places does not mean they are not struggles . And just because they are not the same level of extremes does not matter .
That's the joke. American white women dismissing american white male's complaints is silly, because to a large swath of the rest of the world, american white women's complaints are proportionately just as trivial.
I think the argument to be made, is to recognize your 'struggles' place in the context of human existence, and try to react at least somewhat accordingly.
Net neutrality, or someone not making you a cake, or alimony laws sometimes stink. But is that enough for to justify being unhappy when you're living in a 1st world country in one of the top 3 or 4 best years to be alive in the 200,000,000 year history of mankind?

1. That's utter BS
2. It does not matter the location struggles are struggles
3.It does not matter the time period struggles are struggles
You may not care but that really does not matter.

It matters to me, because my ability to recognize the difference between a minor inconvenience and a 'struggle' that should command my attention and negatively affect my enjoyment of life is why I'm such a jovial chap in this sea of Eeyores.
You're all free to continue in your sad sack ways outraged over whatever ultimately trivial nuisance has roadblocked your path to happiness, but it's dumb. Really really really dumb. Really dumb. As in not smart.

And your free too downplay other people's problems because there not the worst problems or your problems . Meanwhile i'll tend to all problems as if they have some merit . But i think your path is far more miserable then mine .
